Our experience speaks for itself. We deliver simple, strategic, and sustainable results.

Since 2007, we’ve successfully served hundreds of clients in St. Louis and beyond. Here are a few recent examples.
The Spark Prize powered by Missouri Foundation for Health

Missouri Foundation for Health launched the Spark Prize in 2025 to recognize and invest in high-potential leaders addressing the social and economic conditions that shape health and well-being across Missouri. With a $200,000 unrestricted award, the prize was designed to accelerate visionary, community-driven work.
MFH partnered with AHC Consulting to help design and implement a rigorous, equitable, and public-facing recognition process. AHC supported the nomination and review structure, developed evaluation tools, shaped outreach and candidate communications, and helped guide the finalist experience through structured interviews and group exercises.
The process attracted more than 170 nominations from across Missouri and resulted in five inaugural awardees. AHC also advised on storytelling and media positioning, helping frame the Spark Prize as both an investment in individual leaders and a broader statement about community-driven solutions to health challenges.
The inaugural launch generated strong media interest across Missouri and established a foundation for a credible, high-impact statewide recognition program.
Great Rivers Greenway

Great Rivers Greenway works with communities across St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County to plan, build, and care for a regional network of greenways. As new projects move from planning to design, clear communication and meaningful public engagement are essential to helping residents understand opportunities, share priorities, and shape decisions.
AHC Consulting supported Great Rivers Greenway with strategic communications and public engagement for two active projects: the Shady Creek Greenway in Webster Groves and Missouri Greenway: Truman Park Connections in Hazelwood and North St. Louis County.
For both projects, AHC helped translate complex planning information into clear, accessible communications for residents, partners, and community stakeholders. Our work supported public meetings, outreach materials, project messaging, and engagement strategies designed to invite participation, build understanding, and gather useful feedback.
The Shady Creek Greenway project focuses on planning a segment in Webster Groves connected to broader greenway and infrastructure improvements. The Truman Park Connections project explores opportunities to expand greenway access and improve connections in and around Harry S. Truman Park, responding to community interest in expanded access across North St. Louis County.
Through this work, AHC helped Great Rivers Greenway communicate project goals, create opportunities for public input, and strengthen community understanding of how greenway investments can improve access, connectivity, and quality of life.

Taylor Geospatial

Taylor Geospatial engaged AHC Consulting during a pivotal moment: the launch of a newly unified organization working at the intersection of geospatial research, technology, and real-world application.
AHC helped Taylor Geospatial introduce the new organization with a clear, credible, and forward-looking communications strategy. Working closely with leadership and existing brand materials, we developed core messaging, leadership talking points, FAQs, announcement copy, and media narratives that positioned Taylor Geospatial as a bridge between research and application, with a focus on advancing GeoAI as a digital public good.
Our work supported both strategy and execution. AHC helped prepare leadership for media engagement, shape interview narratives, and ensure that communications across channels reflected a consistent story about the organization’s purpose, role, and future direction.
The launch generated strong visibility, including coverage from regional business, civic, and media outlets, as well as broader distribution across geospatial, infrastructure, technology, and industry publications. The effort gave Taylor Geospatial a stronger communications foundation and helped establish early recognition for the newly unified organization.
AHC continued to support Taylor Geospatial as the organization expanded its public presence, including communications strategy for the announcement of a new awards program recognizing leadership and innovation in the geospatial field. That announcement received international media attention, further elevating Taylor Geospatial’s visibility and reinforcing its role as a convener and thought leader in the global geospatial ecosystem.
Through this work, AHC helped Taylor Geospatial communicate with clarity during major organizational milestones, translate complex technical ideas for broader audiences, and build recognition among partners, media, and the communities it aims to serve.
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District

In 2023, AHC led a comprehensive public awareness campaign for MSD’s Rate Commission, which represents users in MSD’s rate-setting process. We hosted 14 public hearings across the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County - strategically located to ensure 99.99% of customers had a hearing within 10 miles - alongside virtual sessions to maximize accessibility.
To boost engagement, AHC implemented an integrated communications plan including social media, newsletters, website development, digital, print, and radio marketing. We also secured earned media coverage to elevate the Commission’s visibility and underscore its public accountability.
McCormack Baron Salazar

Over a five-year collaboration with St. Louis-based developer McCormack Baron Salazar (MBS), AHC Consulting delivered strategic counsel and communication strategies, raising MBS's profile and strengthening its brand image. As part of our engagement, we crafted a comprehensive Communications Playbook, providing detailed marketing strategies to enhance the MBS brand globally.
Our role transcended traditional boundaries, incorporating media relations, crisis communications, strategic planning, and social media management. Beyond the Playbook, our involvement broadened to assist MBS developments nationwide.
We operated as an integral part of the MBS communications team, coordinating with housing authority communication staff across the U.S., and arranging introductory meetings with media personnel. We amplified the impact of MBS's Beecher Terrace affordable housing project in Louisville, KY, by crafting engaging human-interest stories and profiling the project's positive influence on the local community. The content, well-received across multiple markets, demonstrates our proficiency in devising comprehensive communication strategies that heighten brand visibility and resonate with diverse audiences.
Deaconess Foundation

Beginning in 2013, our initial work with Deaconess Foundation included the creation of a Communication Playbook, the development of a thought leader platform for Rev. Starsky Wilson, and managing external media awareness for the organization.
During the project timeframe, AHC held multiple brainstorming and focus group meetings with Deaconess, its partners, and external stakeholders. Our work guided the Foundation’s messaging across all social, electronic, and print communication channels, facilitating incredible growth for the Foundation including the opening of the Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being and the elevation of Rev. Starsky Wilson.
Since 2018, AHC Consulting has provided strategic counsel, community engagement, messaging, social media presence, and media relations for the Deaconess Foundation and the Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being. Most relevant, AHC Consulting supported large-scale community engagement and community organizing efforts such as the North Central Plan. Additionally, AHC has led the development of media materials and outreach, interview pitching and scheduling, curation, and on-site development of content for social media. To raise brand awareness and promote the resources the Deaconess Foundation has to offer, the AHC team “pitched” media and assisted the staff with media members at events such as the Just 4 Kids speaker series and Freedom Schools’ annual National Day of Action.
Thomas R. Schilli Foundation

The Thomas R. Schilli Foundation works to advance mission-driven initiatives through strategic philanthropy, scholarship support, and partnerships with institutions such as Saint Louis University.
AHC Consulting has served as a close strategic partner to the Foundation over multiple years, supporting its governance, operations, scholarship pathway, and key institutional relationships. Our work has helped TRSF move from big-picture priorities to practical implementation, ensuring that the Foundation’s strategy, board processes, partnerships, and special initiatives continue to move forward with clarity and discipline.
AHC’s support has included preparing board materials, developing agendas and update memos, supporting quarterly board meetings, advising the executive director, and helping manage ongoing priorities across the Foundation’s portfolio. We have also supported TRSF’s relationship with Saint Louis University, including work connected to the Center for Ignatian Service and the Schilli Scholarship Pathway.
Through this long-term partnership, AHC has helped the Thomas R. Schilli Foundation strengthen its operating infrastructure, steward important institutional relationships, and advance mission-aligned initiatives with greater focus and consistency.
St. Louis Economic Development Partnership

In 2019, AHC Consulting developed a communications plan, recommendations, and implemented a restructured marketing & communications department.
We handled media inquiries, served as a spokesperson for crisis communications, and led proactive media relations in promoting positive stories/events such as the U.S. Ireland Missouri Business report. In the past, we have provided strategic communications counsel and crisis communications. In 2024, the AHC team transitioned all work to the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership’s internal team, which was part of our plan’s recommendations.
Ladue Education Foundation &
Ladue Alumni Association

In 2022, our team completed a strategic planning process and rebranded the Ladue Education Foundation (LEF) and Alumni Association. After 15 years and recent leadership transitions, the LEF needed to update its visual identity and develop a new strategic plan. Our team led a comprehensive process that engaged hundreds of stakeholders. The process resulted in two new logos, a new tagline, a new website, and a brand implementation plan that positions the LEF for the next 15 years.

I highly recommend AHC Consulting to develop communications and public relations efforts, especially within the St. Louis region. Through their leadership and valuable network in the region, they can identify opportunities and forthcoming strategies to support successful business and marketing outcomes.
